Post Match Review- England Vs Georgia

Sensational weekend here in New Zealand with all of us press – hard to believe that includes me – talking about nothing else but Ireland. Their incredible win has opened up the competition with the best news being the likelihood of a North v South final.  Hats off also to Wales who are looking increasingly composed as they got a hard fought win against a powerful Samoan side.  Scotland also negotiated a tricky mid week fixture against a fired up Georgia side who have benefitted hugely from their players gaining professional contracts.  What can I say about England?  I thought it was a pretty dismal performance to be honest and we looked slow and a bit lethargic.  Massively important that England now look at themselves and be critical but then pull together as a team.  Look what happened in 2007 when we were written off by everyone and yet managed to make it to the final.
