This weekend is going to be an absolute cracker and I can't wait for kick off. Three out of the four quarter finals could genuinely go either way with only the New Zealand game easy to call.
England need to get up, get at them and create doubt to expose the French weaknesses. Martin Johnson’s team have been slow starters at this tournament and if they come out and play the way they have in previous games — particularly in the first 40 minutes — they could be staring down the barrel of 20-odd points at half-time.
England go into their game as favourites but as I know only too well the French could turn up with a shrug of the shoulders or decide they actually want to play. If it is the second then England could suffer. Ireland v Wales looks like it could be the most entertaining with two in form teams playing some outstanding rugby. Look out for the match up between the superb back rower Sean O Brien against the outstanding Sam Warburton from Wales.
