The former Gloucester player has spoken out in support of their Swift and Bold appeal, set up to help families of soldiers killed or injured in the line of duty.
The 35-year-old said: “It’s important people have them at the front of our minds. They are putting their lives on the line for the benefit of our country.”
The sporting star now wears the appeal’s wristband, bearing the motto “swift and bold”.
