The Man, The Legend
When Phil Vickery was thinking about what to call his fledgling sportswear company, Raging Bull was a clear and obvious choice. The moniker he acquired in the early part of his rugby career, it was Sir Clive Woodward who commented that Phil played the game with ferocity and courage, remaining his nickname to this day. Strong and distinctive with a clear sense of identity, it is a powerful and positive brand name that continues to represent our brand and founder.
From Humble Beginnings
Born in 2003 after England’s World Cup win, Raging Bull was conceived as a sportswear brand supplying playing kits to grassroots rugby clubs. In 2007 we moved into the lifestyle sector, building a brand around high-quality design led clothing, whilst maintaining our provision of good value for money. Phil’s ambition was to have a brand that fit everyone on the rugby field, from the number 10 to the scrum, and our inclusive range of sizes has become a core aspect of who Raging Bull is as a brand.
Where We Are Now
Since its launch, Raging Bull has become an established lifestyle brand, with customers across the globe who are attracted to our focus on quality and timeless style. Growing from our own website and stores, Raging Bull have now cultivated working relationships with numerous other high-end brands, such as Next, Debenhams, and most recently John Lewis. We believe that only the best will do and continue to always design with the best quality materials for all seasons and activities. Strong and distinctive with a clear sense of identity, it is a powerful and positive brand name that continues to represent our brand and founder.
